Water-based parts washing system

Thursday, 17 July, 2014 | Supplied by: NCH Australia

The Torrent 400 water-based parts washing system is designed to clean machine parts safely, with a low impact on water resources and the environment.

Suitable for all types of metals, the system combines heat, chemistry and high pressure to clean machine parts of greases and oils. It features a closable lid with special gloves attached, so all parts are enclosed when cleaning. As the unit is fully integrated and enclosed, it protects users from direct contact with the cleaning solution.

The system is quick, easy to use and eliminates exposure to harmful chemicals. Parts are simply loaded from the front of the machine. The lid is then closed, and through the integrated gloves, the user can clean the parts using a foot-activated, high-pressure jet nozzle and water-based detergent. Once cleaned and dried, the part is then ready for use.

In addition to workshops and manufacturers, the unit is suitable for automotive service centres and the marine, construction, transportation and mining industries.
