The Vactrap COAX is a check valve with an integrated Pi12-2 COAX cartridge for decentralised vacuum handling systems and a built-in blow-off valve to provide a quick release of objects.
It has external blow-off possibilities and a special version with an interconnected (cross-drilled) vacuum pump and blow-off connection is also possible, making it suitable for ejectors with an integrated blow-off valve.
The mounting fits standard robot end-of-arm tooling found in the automotive industry (ball joint and lock-pin connections) and is available with a T-slot connection for the suction cup or a G3/8-in female thread.
The device ‘traps’ the vacuum pressure in vacuum systems for an indefinite period of time in non-porous applications (glass, metal, plastic), preventing the object from being dropped, thereby providing safety and reliability when handling materials.
