SlasherTeck roadside grass slasher

SlasherTeck has released a slasher designed to automate the task of cutting vegetation on roadsides. Rather than requiring teams of roadside workers to manually trim around poles, fences, safety barriers and signposts, the device needs only one person on a tractor.

The product reduces the need for chemical spraying of grass and instead delivers recyclable mulch, making it more environmentally friendly.

It has a rotating triple-bladed mulching unit, incorporating a single slot to accommodate posts of different sizes. The motor is hydraulically driven and has 12 mulching blades.

For long strips of roadside barriers, the product has a reach arm mower. The cutting width is 900 mm. The front-mounted device has cutting widths of 1200 and 1800 mm, while the side shift tilt hitch enables the product to be shifted up to 900 mm to the off-side and rotates up to a 15° angle to meet the ground profile.
