TSI’s Velocicalc rotating vane anemometer accurately measures air velocity and temperature, calculates flow rate, performs averaging and determines minimum and maximum readings. The model 8324 also provides data logging capability.

The instrument features: a 4" diameter rotating vane head; ‘sweep’ mode, makes it easy to sweep across an area for one overall measurement; a flow rate mode, which calculates volumetric flow (when the user inputs the duct shape and size or area); sampling mode that records multiple point measurements; statistics function displaying average, maximum and minimum values and the number of recorded samples; and a variable time constant mode, for a steady display when measuring fluctuating flows.

The instrument allows the user to log 2849 samples with a time and date stamp. Single point and continuous modes are available to fit any application and the data can be reviewed on screen, printed or downloaded to a computer spreadsheet program.

The product is suitable for indoor air quality tests, fume hood face velocity tests, heating and cooling coil analysis and filter face velocity measurements.
