Health and safety grants for Qld business

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has announced a series of grants designed to facilitate workplace health and safety projects for small businesses.

The direct funding grants are available to industry associations and related organisations and proposals will be accepted until close of business on 30 April.

The grants are aimed to assist such industries as: food and beverage manufacturing; wood product manufacturing; metal product manufacturing; printing; automotive repair; and transport and storage.

Proposals must provide information relating to specific items in the grant's fact sheet, which can be viewed at: www.deir.qld.gov.au/workplace/.
