MSA Cable Temporary Horizontal Lifeline

Easy and Fast to Install. No Tools are Needed.

Often, we hear concerns and challenges regarding time consumption and efficiency from our fellow safety officers when they need to enforce safety policies.

“My team uses temporary horizontal lifelines every day of the week. My current product comes in multiple pieces, requires several tools, and ultimately takes forever to set up.”

“I need a product that’s simple and can be installed quickly so my team can get back to the job.”

Taking into consideration these insights, MSA developed and launched a product that meets the needs, wants, and demands of their customers.

Get to Work Faster

The new Cable Temporary Horizontal Lifeline (THLL) allows for a 75% faster install compared to traditional cable systems. This completely toolless installation helps to save time and increase efficiency when setting up lifelines on the jobsite and is suited well for work at heights applications in oil & gas, general industry, and construction. The new MSA THLL’s intuitive features not only help to save time setting up lifelines on the jobsite, but also help to Improve Efficiency, Enable Easy Install, Simplify Compliance, and Increase Mobility.

Improve Efficiency

It comes with integrated locking and tensioning mechanisms on the handle that eliminate the need for nuts, bolts and wrenches, which thus saves your time and allows you to get to your work faster. The galvanized cable enables easy installation & management; besides, the locking and tensioning mechanisms are on the same side. This eliminates the need to travel back and forth during set up and sweat tensioning is not required.

Increase Mobility

Cable Temporary Horizontal Lifeline (THLL) also comes with multiple visual indicators that allow the user to know the system is locked, tensioned, and ready for use. Furthermore, easy-to-read red and green visual indicators show when the system is properly tensioned, helping to provide an added level of confidence in installation. MSA’s patented bypass shuttle is one of the components of the new THLL. The exclusive bypass shuttles help users to maintain 100% tie-off while passing each other on the same line, increasing mobility without sacrificing safety.

The new MSA Cable Temporary Horizontal Lifeline meets OSHA 29 CFR 1910.140 / 1926.502, EN 795:2012 Type C and comes with a 2-year warranty. For more details, contact our customer service team or sales team.
