Gorter provides a range of aluminium roof access hatches completely assembled with unfolding scissor stairs, which comply with EN-ISO 14122-3 regulations.
The hatches have a standard 1400 x 700 mm opening with the hinge on the longest side.
The hatch has a sound reduction of 22 dB and is wind- and watertight. It can take a snowload of 200 kg/m2.
The stairs have a counterbalancing system for assisted opening and controlled closing, with a hold-open arm that engages automatically. They have a one-hand release on the inside and can open with a push-button on the outside if unlatched.
The steps are 360 x 140 x 26 mm in dimensions, flanked by a non-slip handrail.
