Luminescent step nosing

Ecoglo step nosings incorporate a photoluminescent strip and an anti-slip mat that together provide clear step-edge contrast. The nosing improves stair visibility and safety, either inside or out and whether day or night.

By absorbing natural and artificial light, the bright glow, which the nosing emits in dark conditions, makes for high visibility in blackout emergency situations. The range also includes strip products, handrails and signage, to provide a complete way-finding system.

Ecoglo reduces the use of electricity in a facility and it requires no additional maintenance. The product is a sustainable building solution made from recycled aluminium at a factory whose energy supplier is carbon neutral. All products are non-toxic and non-radioactive.

The stair nosings comply with the updated New Zealand Building Code emergency lighting clause, F6 (Visibility in Escape Routes).
