The Arachnipod is a total edge management system based around the concept of an industrial tripod; however, the modular design enables components to be added or removed as required, creating a truly multifunctional system.
The system can be constructed into many different configurations including a ginpole/monopole, bipod, tripod, quadpod, bridge system and handrail recovery monopole.
For heavy loads, additional legs can be fitted to increase the safe working load. Its versatility makes it suitable for workers in industries such as rescue and emergency services, mining and construction, maintenance and utilities.
The system has been drop-test rated for a 280 kg rescue load and is capable of holding a high directional load as well as a belay system.
