Floorsafe International has introduced a 12 mm thick rubber stair tread to prevent slips and falls.
Manufactured in its Adelaide facility from recycled tyres, the stair tread is fitted with a metal edge in a choice of three colours.
The soft, no-noise product can be tailor made to the required size to offer a complete covering, which is then fixed down with adhesive. It can be placed over new or existing metal, open mesh, timber and concrete surfaces.
