Johnson Controls Vigilant T-Gen2 emergency warning systems
The Johnson Controls Vigilant T-Gen2 Grade 2 and Grade 3 emergency warning systems (EWS) are compliant with the latest AS4428.16 2015 Australian Standard and ActivFire listed.
The Grade 3 self-contained EWS is suitable for small to large-sized single zone evacuation systems. The Grade 2 EWS is designed for larger installations and is capable of controlling up to 20 evacuation zones with independent alert and evacuation warning tones, emergency public address functions and complex cascading, to assist in safely guiding building occupants in an emergency situation.
Two choices of amplifier sizes are available, D-Class 60 W or 120 W, which can operate independently per zone or combined in a master slave configuration for higher power outputs. Optional 100 V splitter or switching modules provide short-circuit isolated outputs to different floors or can be configured to control several smaller zones, making the product suitable for small to large buildings.
Other features include: onboard digitised messages, which can be prerecorded or set up on site for applications such as evacuation direction, drills, testing or lockdown situations; emergency public address microphone; and optional paging consoles.
Both units can be provided as part of a Vigilant or Simplex fire detection panel or as an independent emergency warning system.
