Cov-R-Guard Lamps are wrapped in a casing of Lexan plastic that effectively contains glass fragments and phosphor if the lamp is broken. The casing allows for maximum protection, with minimum light loss - keeping an installation bright and safe. Both the casing and the lamp are fully recyclable, once separated.

Cov-R-Guard also has a 20,000 h life on HF electronic gear and 15,000 h life on conventional gear with good colour reproduction and good light output over the life of the lamp. The Cov-R-Guard comes in an 18 and 36 W, 4000 CCT K.

Features of the Cov-R-Guard include dependable UV blocking - 100% of UVB and UVC, and up to 98.8% of UVA in standard lamps, complete shatter protection, quality protective sleeving. Cov-R-Guard lamps benefit from Polylux XLR triphosphor technology, superior light output and colour rendering properties, extra long life and low mercury content.

Applications include food processing, hospitals, supermarkets, schools, pharmaceutical, commercial kitchens, trains, food preparation areas, loading docks, elevators, chemical laboratories. The UV blocking also makes them suitable for applications such as museums, childcare facilities, office buildings, restaurants and display cases.
