The Hioki Safety HiTester 3258 provides electricians with a safe and convenient means to measure voltages in circuit breaker compartments and other control cabinets.
The probes are optimised for LV measurements to 600 VAC, using a two-probe method to measure phase voltage to neutral/ground and also phase to phase. The instrument can test busbars, terminals and insulated cables from 38 mm2 upwards. The tester can be used without having to remove breaker covers to access metallic contacts, making service procedures faster by allowing devices to stay live during the measurement procedure. For typical LV three-phase circuits, accuracy is ±1.5% of reading ±5 digits. For frequencies to 400 Hz, accuracy is ±2.5% of reading ±5 digits.
