Fluke IR windows

Fluke IR windows can be used for safe, fast infrared inspections and reduce the time needed to conduct regular inspections. They can also enhance safety by avoiding exposure to live equipment and, additionally, fewer technicians are required to conduct inspections.

With a Kwik Twist cover that magnetically sticks to the panel when removed, the windows are easy to use and provide good image clarity through a Clirvu crystal. The crystal technology is impervious to both moisture and vibration and, unlike thin film polymer optics, the crystal has been designed to withstand the severe combination of overpressure and temperature of an arc-fault event, protecting workers from the potential molten projectiles associated with arc-flashes.

Totally insoluble, the windows are guaranteed never to degrade even when subjected to mild acids or alkalis.

The windows are arc resistant and outdoor certified and allow thermal, ultraviolet, visual and fusion technologies to be used. With heavy-duty aluminium housing, the rugged windows withstand electric-arcs up to 50 kA for 30 cycles.

Users of Fluke cameras will find the Quadraband optic is IR-Fusion compatible, allowing the thermographer to see potential problems in visual light and thermographic mode.

For those with more than one window per panel, each C-range window is delivered with an identification plate attached for unique, on-site numbering for rapid location confirmation and faster repairs.

Each infrared window comes complete with a security access key, installation instructions and self-adhesive drilling template.
