The Cirlock Battery Cable Lockout is used to securely lockout various battery cables. Made from high-impact plastic, this product is a battery cable isolator with two entry points. Simply place cable into case, close and lock with padlock.
To use the product: shut down equipment and remove key; identify the correct terminal (usually the negative terminal unless site procedures state otherwise); disconnect the battery terminal using the correct tools; fit the lockout device over the battery terminal or cable end, ensuring it completely covers the contact point to prevent reconnection; apply a padlock and tag to secure the lockout device; and finally, test to confirm the battery has been successfully isolated.
