GasBadge Plus is a maintenance-free, single gas monitor with a two-year lifespan, designed for personal protection from unsafe levels of carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, oxygen, nitrogen dioxide or sulfur dioxide.
The unit’s compact size and light weight allow it to be worn comfortably with a variety of clip attachments and the top-mounted sensor provides continuous and unobstructed protection even when placed in a shirt pocket.
The rugged IP66-/67-rated enclosure with concussion-proof over-mould is resistant to water and radio frequency interference and protects the device from extreme abuse in harsh industrial environments.
The instrument features a backlit LCD graphical display that can be set up to show both gas type/direct gas readings or just the gas type in ‘ppm’ or ‘% by volume’ readout, ‘go/no go’ display mode, a ‘confidence’ indicator, two-button operation for simple navigation and set-up that can be password protected for added security, continuous event logging with the past 15 alarm events recorded, audible alarm complemented by vibrating and visual alarms, and automatic self-test and user-activated test.
Optional Cal Plus calibration station and datalink accessories are available to enable instrument maintenance, configuration and data downloading.
