Portable multi-gas monitor

The Scout is a tough and simple-to-use multi-gas monitor that measures and displays toxic gases, oxygen and combustible gas concentrations simultaneously. These measurements are possible through selection from a wide range of interchangeable (plug-and-play) smart sensors.

It is designed to protect people and property by providing a portable means of atmospheric monitoring wherever there is the potential for oxygen depletion or enrichment, toxic gas in excess of accepted exposure standards and combustible vapours.

Such environmental hazards can occur in confined spaces, manufacturing, smelting, petrochemical, mining, emergency response, utilities, transport and storage facilities.

Features of the monitor include: high impact and water resistance (it is housed in a shock-resistant ABS and has high resistance to water immersion - IP57 tested) 50-70 hours run time, on a single-charge lithium ion or alkaline battery cell PID capable sensor for measuring volatile organic compounds variable period data logging capacity of 8000 measurements/events per channel.

Standards include: CE marked and CENELEC (ATEX) certified II 2 G EEx ia d IIC T4 UL certified Class 1 Div 1 Gps A, B, C & D IECEX - Exia d llC T4.
