Fanquip purging fans

Thursday, 03 June, 2010 | Supplied by: Fanquip

The Fanquip purging fans are designed to expel gases typically found in confined spaces where toxic and carcinogenic gases can be present.

The fans can be deployed to purge (or contain where necessary) harmful gases in areas such as drains, sewers, underground excavations and tunnels, welding in confined spaces, factories, food and pharmaceutical processing plants, livestock and primary industry operations, foundries, mine operations and general engineering businesses.

The gas purging systems can be set up for either blowing or extracting to ensure all unwanted air is quickly and easily purged out of a work area.

With OHS laws focusing on the presence of unsuitable air in every industry, equipment to provide fresh air is also becoming necessary. Addressing this requirement, the units can also be set up to maintain the supply of clean air for any personnel that may be working within a confined space.
