The 5S system is a well-known program for managing safety, productivity and quality in the workplace. It can be applied to any industry and aims to provide financial benefits as well as improving employee morale.

Improvement Tools offers 5S training programs for the manufacturing, mining, timber, maintenance, food and beverage industries, as well as office applications.

Participants may be eligible for assessment for units of competency under the Competitive Manufacturing program in Australia and New Zealand.

The new range of 5S training programs is delivered over a two-day hands-on workplace project. The programs combine training in and the application of the principles behind the 5S system.

This ensures the new skills are transferred to the work area, to make an immediate impact on company performance. An optional program of monthly reviews and coaching is available to ensure the system is sustained in the workplace.
