Safety snapshot released of Road Transport Industry Profile
Safe Work Australia has released a road transport industry infographic as part of Road Safety Week.
The infographic is a preview from the upcoming Road Transport Industry Profile.
It provides a quick snapshot that summarises the main points in the profile. Based on the latest data from worker fatalities and workers compensation claims, it includes statistics on the nature, circumstances and main causes of injuries and fatalities in this industry.
This infographic is essential reading for employers and workers in the road transport industry and workplaces, where 34 road transport workers died at work in 2015.
