Machine and function safety on the agenda at ACI Connect conference

Australia’s new automation, control and instrumentation conference - ACI Connect - will feature two half-day 'Safety of Machinery' workshops from industrial safety specialist Frank Schrever and a case study presentation titled 'Functional Safety - who is safe?'.

Being held at Melbourne Olympic Park from 9-10 April, the conference program will also include: keynotes on Industry 4.0, the skills shortage and future manufacturing opportunities; panel discussions on cybersecurity and ethernet in industry; and instrumentation workshops. Engineers, plant and factory management, EPCs, OEMs, system integrators and operations and technical professionals will gather at ACI Connect for two days of education, training and networking.

Industries represented at the event will include food processing and packaging, mining, oil and gas, utilities, transport and manufacturing.

Early bird registration is now open, with one-day passes starting at just $299 for bookings prior to 14 March.
