How to identify fatigue risk
A free seminar offering managers the tools they need to identify and address fatigue risk in the workplace will be run by TMS Consulting on 25 November in Melbourne.
The seminar, titled ‘A manager’s guide to identifying fatigue risk’, will be presented by CEO Helen Wood and is geared towards general managers, HR and HSE managers in the engineering, construction and manufacturing, transport, logistics and freight, and infrastructure and resources sectors.
While the issue of fatigue in workplaces continues to gain increasing coverage in the media, the current economic climate means managers are increasingly having to achieve more with less, while teams are having to work harder and sometimes longer.
TMS says the onus falls on managers to help recognise, manage and mitigate occupational fatigue risk, and managers need to identify whether they are doing enough to protect their employees.
The following questions will be addressed in the seminar:
- What is fatigue management?
- How do you identify fatigue risk in your organisation?
- What are your responsibilities and obligations as a manager?
