The interactive seminar will discuss the themes arising from the upcoming DrugInfo newsletter and Prevention Research Quarterly, ‘Under the influence: What local governments can do to reduce drug and alcohol related harms in their communities’.

The seminar’s discussion panel includes:

  • Cr Rachel Powning, Mayor, City of Port Phillip;
  • Dr Peter Streker, Director, Community Stars, Victoria;
  • Bonnie Rosen, Principal, Symplan Urban and Social Planners;
  • Michael Livingston, Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Alcohol Policy Research (CAPR), Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Centre;

The seminar will also be broadcast as a free online webinar for those unable to attend the seminar in Melbourne.
