Medical device company dorsaVi has announced the acquisition of Australian Workplace Compliance to increase its service offering and client base in the occupational health and safety (OHS) market.

Australian Workplace Compliance was founded by Mark Heaysman and provides OHS operational and procedural analysis, supporting the development of strategic compliance and risk mitigation solutions to a variety of clients in industries including manufacturing, outdoor adventure and logistics and distribution.

The acquisition will enable dorsaVi to offer both new and existing clients a comprehensive suite of solutions, including ViSafe, to help reduce incidents and the severity of workplace injuries.  As part of the acquisition, Heaysman will join dorsaVi as an employee. He will lead the company’s new OHS and compliance division.

dorsaVi CEO Andrew Ronchi said the acquisition of Australian Workplace Compliance is an exciting step forward for the company and will help drive ViSafe further into the OHS market and builds on the partnership with Allianz that was announced in March.
