Safety industry pioneers to convene at Workplace Health & Safety Show

Industry pioneers and innovative technologies will take centre stage at the Workplace Health & Safety Show. This year’s line-up of brands will highlight innovative new technologies, such as wearable tech, displayed by two leaders in the field. Reactec will be showcasing how forward-thinking organisations can approach old risks in a new way, using an eco-system of their high-tech workplace wearables and cloud-based analytics. Preventure will also be on hand to show how companies can reduce workplace injury risk in a measurable way, using wearable technology, video analysis and valid, reliable data.

Featured software exhibitors at the Workplace Health & Safety Show include all-in-one WHS management system Skytrust, voiceover audit and checklist tool Talk 5, integrated safety and security management platform Noggin and supplier management solution Donesafe. The Workplace Health & Safety Show will take place at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from Wednesday, 25 to Thursday, 26 May 2022.

The event will also feature a range of impairment prevention and assessment companies. Alert for Work offers fatigue management technology for high-risk industries across Australia; Repertory & Sleep Service offers a comprehensive, non-invasive and cost-effective home sleep testing service; and MX3 provides hydration testing systems that are used in a multitude of industries — from athletes and trainers to active duty military personnel and mining companies.

Marie Kinsella, CEO of IEC Group Australia, noted that the health and safety industry is at the forefront of implementing new technologies into apps and services that are creating efficiencies and preventing serious on-site incidents. “We’re extremely pleased to have gathered together some of the most innovative and game-changing brands for this year’s Workplace Health and Safety Show,” Kinsella said.

The event will feature a live, interactive two-way learning experience with a trade show that showcases over 100 brands, talks and interactive forums. Held in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Health and Safety’s National Conference, this show will showcase best practice in workplace health and safety. The program of events and opportunities offers professionals the chance to meet new suppliers, update knowledge, join discussions and forge connections.
