Farmer dies in ATV rollover

A farmer died after being thrown from an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) as it rolled down a hill at a Glenaroua property in central Victoria on Friday, 8 May.

When the side-by-side vehicle slipped down a rocky outcrop, it is believed the 89-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt.

The death brings the number of workplace fatalities in Victoria to 24 for 2020.

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating.
