WorkSafe WA investigates work-related death at Malaga

WorkSafe WA is investigating the work-related death of a 59-year-old worker at a construction site in Malaga on 2 July 2024. The man was reportedly working with a crane when he was struck by the load, suffering fatal injuries.

WorkSafe investigators will conduct a thorough investigation to understand exactly what happened, identify actions required to prevent future incidents of a similar nature and take any appropriate enforcement action.

WorkSafe Commissioner Sally North relayed her condolences to the man’s family, friends and co-workers at the site.
