Investigation underway after worker crushed by truck tailgate

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating an incident in which an auto electrician died while working on a truck in Campbellfield on Sunday. It is understood that the 41-year-old worker was repairing a faulty tailgate when it collapsed onto him at about 12.30 pm.

This brings the workplace fatality toll to 46 for 2022; 19 fewer than at the same time last year.
