The DBI-Sala ExoFit XP Flotation Harness incorporates an AS/NZS1891.1 certified fall-arrest harness and a personal flotation device (PFD) in one unit, to provide both fall protection and buoyancy control for the professionals working on or near the water.

The Industrial 275N model is for use in both closed- and open-water environments, while the SOLAS model is for use in open water, such as shipping and offshore work.

The flotation harness provides protection following a fall from height and, in the event a worker falls into the water while not connected, it will keep them afloat until help arrives.

The flotation harness retains all the comfort and safety features of the traditional range, while adding protection near water, including stainless steel connection hardware to reduce corrosion and extend product life, lifting connection point for fast retrieval during rescues, pull-cord for manual activation, safety whistle, lifting strap, reflective tape, oral inflation/deflation tube, high-visibility chamber, inspection-history label and RFID-based i-Safe to fast-track inspections, control inventory and manage information.

The PFD automatically inflates within 3 s of being immersed in water and turns the wearer on their back, even if they are unconscious, ensuring their airway is above water.

Options include fire-resistant protective covers, safety lights and spray hoods.
