The Black Dog Institute is dedicated to prevention and treatment of mental illness through research and education programs throughout Australia. The organisation is also a founding member of the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance, a government body formed to devise mental health best practice in the workplace.

ProChoice Safety Gear is showing its support to the Black Dog Institute by donating $2 from the sale of every limited-edition Black hard hat. The company is encouraging workers and businesses to show their support of Black Dog and mental health too by purchasing the limited edition Black Dog hard hat in the lead-up to Mental Health Awareness Week, 5-12 October.

October also happens to be Safe Work Australia Month. ProChoice Safety Gear says protecting your head’s interior is just as important as protecting your head’s exterior, and the ProChoice Black Dog Institute hard hat does both.

The BD-HHV9-BK limited-edition Black hard hat is lightweight, made from impact-resistant ABS material and features nine air vents and six-point PinLock harness.
