The inaugural SAFETYconnect 2017 is being held 16–17 August in Western Sydney and features a two-day conference with dual streams — WHS Management and Industrial Safety.
The NSCA Foundation program committee is currently inviting abstract submissions for the industrial safety stream of the conference.
Topics that will be considered include:
- Height safety
- Confined spaces
- Materials handling
- Drug & alcohol prevention policies
- Machine, electrical and fire safety
The event’s program committee is looking for presentation for its case study scenarios, technology sessions, panel discussions, keynotes and plenary sessions.

The deadline for abstracts is COB Tuesday, 21 March.
The author of each accepted paper will be invited to attend the conference and present the paper.
