EXAIR Back Blow Air Nozzle

EXAIR’s Back Blow Air Nozzle is engineered to safely clean inside of pipe, tube, hose or channels in industrial environments. The nozzles are available in two models:  model 1006SS is 1/4″ and model 1008SS is 1″.

The nozzles are designed to blow debris and liquids inside diameters, axle housings, bores, holes, internal threads and other internal parts found in hydraulic cylinders, gearboxes or differential housings. An array of holes provide forceful 360° airflow to clear out coolant, chips and light oils from machining processes. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel to provide durability and good resistance to corrosion, the nozzles also prevent blowing chips further into a part, tube or pipe. Any safety hazards created by blowing debris out the far end of a pipe or tube are also eliminated.

The 1008SS model fits inside openings as small as 2″ (51 mm) and is effective on diameters up to 16″ (40 mm). With simple installation, a secure fit is also assured using 4.7 mm flats milled on the body. Since airflow is directed back towards the operator, the manufacturer also recommends workers use personal protective equipment. Optional extension pipes of 12, 36 and 72″ provide reach for longer tube and pipe cleanout.

The product meets OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.95(a) and 29 CFR 1910.242(b) for noise and outlet pressure, and is also CE compliant.
