The Balluff magnetically coded safety sensor has a non-contact operating principle, meaning that it is unaffected by mechanical play. This makes it simple to install. With separate processing electronics, the safety switch can be used for applications up to PLe/SIL 3.
The magnetic technology offers high tampering security and reduces the risk of bypassing the safety function. With the optionally available spacer, users can install the safety switch in a ferromagnetic environment.
