CO2 monitor

Monday, 18 August, 2008

The D-TEK CO2 gas monitor uses an infrared absorption-sensing cell which is highly selective to carbon dioxide, combined with circuitry that allows the instrument to equalise to the CO2 present in the atmosphere to minimise the risk of false alarms.

The instrument maintains its sensitivity over time for consistent, accurate and reliable performance. Its specialised infrared sensor cell lasts for approximately 800 h.

The device features: high sensitivity; no reaction to smoke, humidity, airflow or temperature changes; quick response and quick clearing (‘zeroing’); onboard diagnostics; and a non-corrosive NiMH (nickel metal hydride) power stick.

Additional features include a charging status indicator, sensor failure indication, sensor test mode and rechargeable NiMH batteries.
