CAC-BTS Series bump testing stations

The CAC-BTS Series wall-mounted bump testing stations are designed to simplify the process of gas testing instruments. Bump testing is a critical part of any gas detection program and can be defined as the process of applying a calibration gas mixture to an instrument and allowing the instrument to respond to the gas and for the instrument alarms (audible/visual/vibration) to engage. Applying a gas mixture to an instrument is the only way to be sure the gas detection instrument will respond to a gas exposure in the field.

Available as one, two or three gas stations, the BTS is programmable for the length of time the gas flows (1-60 s) and the flow rate. Once these are determined, the box is locked and all the user has to do is push the green button to have the gas flow to their instrument for a quick bump test.

The one-button operation makes the bump test station simple to use and increases worker compliance.

The CACBTS-101(single), CACBTS-201(dual) and now the CACBTS-301(three) channel systems are available for use with 60, 103 or 112 L cylinders with all gas mixtures.
